To some extent an old style Self-portrait with pallet + brush, yet with a living room setting and a window facing the garden. A strange choice was to have my wife behind me in a picture on the wall, as if it was someone not anymore around. Indeed, like a premonition, a year later she had left us forever but is in spirit still with us.
