Gesäuse, Aut.

After laying off painting for ten years and producing over that time rather abstract work, this is my second painting in which I begin a representational phase. With no intention ever to exhibit (because in the avant-garde world it would be retro), I was free to paint as I liked. For that, I chose the valley near my hometown Eisenerz, not to forget my roots. Sextet
Inspired by interwoven patterns of music by J.S. Bach. Six linear geometrical forms overlap as six instruments play different, non-conflicting melodies in space and time. Self-Portrait
